Social Responsibility

Current advisory has to address the constant flexibilization of fundamental rights and guarantees, demanding not only a strong and combative stance from criminal lawyers, but also effective measures in advocacy of the right of defense.

In this sense, the Arruda Botelho Sociedade de Advogados law firm strives to render services with an emphasis on contributing to the improvement of criminal justice, at all times exercising its social role primarily by sponsoring pro bono cases.

Our in-house lawyers are members of the following entities:

The Institute for the Defense of the Right to Defense (IDDD), a civil society organization of public interest (OSCIP), was created in 2000 with the purpose of strengthening the Right of Defense, dedicated not only to cultural and educational programs, but also to offering free counseling to those with limited financial resources, thanks to partnerships celebrated with the institute and attorneys and/or law firms.
